I heard of a preacher one Sunday who preached on Noah and the ark. After the service his wife asked him who built the ark. He said that Noah did. She asked who got in the ark. He said that Noah did. She then asked him why he put Moses in the ark throughout his message.

Sometimes preachers get caught up and misquote. The messages on August 27 are like that. I spoke of Noah two times and attributed the sin of Lott to Noah. So before the the comments come in, I am fully aware of the blip. I guess after 21 years of preaching, it was bound to happen!!!!

Outside of the blip, I pray the messages help you in your walk with the Savior!!!

Iran's Ahmadinejad Continues
Threat to 'Eliminate Israel'

PUTRAJAYA, August 3 (UPI) — Iran's Muslim president called Thursday for the "elimination" of the state of Israel. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, speaking at a meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Putrajaya, Malaysia, also described the Jewish state as "fake" and said that it lacked any "legal foundation or legitimacy."

Ahmadinejad said Hezbollah had become the "symbol of Muslim resistance. The main solution is the elimination of the Zionist regime."

He called on Arab and Islamic governments immediately to halt their overt and covert political and economic ties with Tel Aviv, Iran Focus reported.

The Muslim head of state also demanded that the United States and Britain pay compensation to Lebanon because they had supported the Israeli offensive.

"The United States and Britain and a considerable number of Western government do not have any limits on the extent of their political, propaganda, financial, and military backing for this regime", he said. "These two governments must be held accountable for their crimes in Lebanon."

THREAT OF GREATER CONFLICT IN MIDDLE EAST

Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:6, "You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars"...as the end of time draws near. The current Middle East conflict could be the spark that sets off the mighty invasion of Israel prophesied by Ezekiel in chapters 38 and 39 of his prophecy.

KUALA LUMPUR, August 4 (UPI) — Participants in a Malaysian meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference warned of a clash of civilizations.

Leaders of the 56-nation group, who earlier hear Iran's president call once again for "the elimination of the Zionist regime," were meeting to discuss fighting in Lebanon between Israeli forces and Hezbollah.

Prospects that the conflict will spread sparked dire warnings. Indonesia's President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who leads the world's most populous Muslim nation, warned that the international community "just one step away to that ultimate nightmare: a clash of civilizations." (emphasis mine)

"This war must stop, or it will radicalize the Muslim world, even those of us who are moderate today," he warned.

The OIC is the group that organized international protests earlier this year against Danish cartoons of Muhammed.
