Belden Baptist calls Bro. Kelly McGinnis as our next Minister of Music.

This past Sunday morning, April 23 Bro. Kelly lead our morning worship service in view of a call to serve as Minister of Music. Following the service the church body was called into business to issue the vote to call Bro. Kelly. The vote was by secret ballot. The vote count was 184 yes and 10 no. Kelly has accepted the call and will begin his ministry at Belden the week of May 8. His first Sunday will be Mother's Day, May 14.

The members welcome Bro. Kelly, his wife Sherria, and son Landon, who will be entering seventh grade this coming school year, to our fellowship. Their daughter, Brook, will graduate from the University of Mobile in May and is seeking employment in the field of Music Education. Their son, Casey, is currently a student at University of Alabama at Birmingham.
